Kia Motors America (KMA) today donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross to aid the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and provide much needed food and supplies to affected communities throughout the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.
"In the aftermath of this historical storm that affected much of the Eastern United States, Kia Motors is committed to providing assistance through the American Red Cross to impacted individuals and communities," said Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO of KMA and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia. "Our thoughts go out to those affected by the hurricane, and we hope that our donation will help provide comfort and aid the recovery effort."
The funds provided to the American Red Cross will help provide food, shelter, supplies and comfort to the individuals affected by the disaster.
